News > Defence and security exports round table – Early Bird tickets now on sale
Published: Tuesday 2nd May 2017 Brexit, Cyber Security, defence, Security, UK defence, UK exports,
The UK is a major force in defence and security export markets and for the future strength and prosperity of the country it is vital that this should continue.
Competition in international markets is, however, intensifying and there is a backlash against the open world economy. Government will have to focus on buttressing the corporate effort through effective defence diplomacy, appropriate domestic acquisition programmes and clever financial support.
What to do to secure success is the focus of this day, keynoted by the Secretary of State for Trade, the Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP and supported by an excellent panel of contributors who bring authority and much practical experience to the proceedings.
The event is intended for senior management, development, marketing and export sales executives, professional services, finance and officials.
Participants are invited to contact the chairman of Cityforum with agenda items and suggestions they wish to make, in a day devoted to making the UK ‘match fit’ and able to make sure efforts are rewarded.
