Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Metropolitan Police Service
Richard Bryan is head of the Olympic Directorate, having been appointed in February 2007.
Prior to this he was the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police Services Central Operations business group. This provides service to boroughs, Pan-London Operations and Command control.
Richard Bryan originated from Solihull and was educated at Lode Heath High School before graduating from the University of Wales with a degree in geography. In 1991 he completed a masters degree in business administration at the University of Warwick.
